Monty Brinkley
Meet… Monty Brinkley! Monty wants to bring his wisdom and experience to your event. We’ll just tell you this since he’s sometimes too humble to mention but he’s sort of a big deal in the music industry as a writer of several songs you may have heard on the radio back in the 90’s! He’s also an ordained minister just in case you need someone to help you tie the knot! Read more about Monty below:
Hi! I’m Monty Brinkley and my musical experience started at age four when I began singing in a church where my father was leading music. I come from a long line of singers and musicians and I’m passionate about playing piano/keyboard, guitar, and many other instruments. As a child of the ’70s and ’80s, I have many influences. From James Taylor, Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, and Santana, to Kool and the Gang, Boston, ELO, and AC/DC. I love rock, but I absolutely love country music (I wanted to be a country star for a long time). In 1990 I signed as a writer with George Tobin Music, who produced several of my songs with the artists “P.C. Quest” and “Tiffany”. My songs have appeared on “Billboard Top 100,” “Dance Party USA,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” and various TV and movie productions throughout the world. I spent many years playing with a band out of Oklahoma City and still love singing Bobby Brown, George Strait, and Garth Brooks covers as well as many other artists.
What you should know about me: I love to laugh and I’m very quick-witted, so it goes without saying, I love to have fun. My goal is to make planning your event easy for you. I want to get to know you so that your event is unforgettable and amazing. Whether it’s DJing, hosting, or performing at your event, my years of public speaking will help your event go smoothly.
